Mr. Broe has twenty five years executive search experience.  He joined Los Angeles based Brentwood International (BI) in 1995 as a Managing Consultant.  He was later promoted to Partner working closely with the President and Founder on continually upgrading corporate strategy and priorities.  Mr. Broe is responsible for the firm’s Northern California Practice as well as actively managing assignments within the firm’s National executive search practice. 

Mr. Broe previously spent nine years as a Senior Associate and Managing Associate with a Gary Kaplan and Associates based in Pasadena, California.  He functioned as a general search practitioner engaged in high technology, financial services, consumer products, entertainment, manufacturing and distribution assignments.  Mr. Broe began his career in 1980 with Korn/Ferry International (KFI) where he spent six years.  Initially serving as a Research Associate, Mr. Broe was promoted in 1982 to Associate becoming a member of the consulting staff.  He was responsible for placing executives within diverse industries, which included being a member of KFI’s Entertainment Specialty Practice for three years.

Prior to entering the executive search business, Mr. Broe spent five years in the oil and gas industry holding a variety of positions including management, consulting, research and development, marketing and public relations.

Mr. Broe graduated from California State University, Stanislaus, earning a Master of Arts degree in History/Industrial Relations, 1979, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, 1977.
