Ms. Seda Aksut is a Partner with Brentwood International.

Previously Ms. Aksut served in two other leading Executive Search firms, Ray&Berndtson and Nicholson International.  She has recruited Chief Executive Officers, Board Members, Partners and other Senior Officers for Fortune 500 companies as well as the world’s leading management consulting firms, and high-tech start-ups.

As a staff member at University of Washington Business School, Ms. Aksut provided consultative services for Korn Ferry International’s Seattle office.

Ms. Aksut has successfully completed numerous searches for software, semiconductors, supply-chain, aerospace and telecommunications companies.

She also conducted international search assignments while with Nicholson International, a London based global search firm. During this period, she conducted searches for consumer goods companies such as Gillette, Coca-Cola, Walt Disney Consumer Products, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Procter&Gamble.

Ms. Aksut supplies additional value to the search process with her experience in evaluating company cultures, conducting management assessments and coaching clients and candidates in forming most effective management teams.

She has a Bachelors Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Social and Organizational Psychology. She is also a Certified Executive Coach (Accredited by International Coaching Federation-ICF).

A former staff member in the Business School of University of Washington in Seattle, she taught “Organizational Behavior and Human Resources”, including lectures and workshops on recruiting, interviewing and compensation, leadership and negotiations.

Ms. Aksut’s research on “Reasons for Executive Job Burnout and Job Stress” was presented in International Psychology Congress’96 in Montreal.

In the past, Ms. Aksut led workshops in Multi-Cultural Leadership Research conducted by Wharton School of Business in 63 countries investigating how leadership and management concepts vary in different countries.

 COACHING SERVICES:

As an Executive Coach, Ms. Aksut leads Brentwood International’s Fast Track Assimilation Coaching Services. She coaches newly hired or recently promoted individuals at key positions on a one-on-one basis from three to six months to help them achieve their highest level of contribution in the new role as soon as possible.

This service has been proven to create successful teams and get emerging leaders up to their potential effectively saving the company time and money. It allows the individual to quickly adjust to the new position maximizing their chances for success and achieving top performance within the critical first six months. The Coaching is action oriented and it equips leaders with the skills and behaviors needed to be effective and well-adjusted within the organization
